Europe widens gains to three-month high on industrial strength

European stocks rose on Thursday for the fourth session, marking three-month highs on strong industrial showing. 

 

Dow Jones Stoxx Europe 600 rose 0.2%, marking November 15 highs, and after closing up 0.6% yesterday on strong performance by the car sector. 

 

Industrials led the charge with a 1% profit on strong profits for Airbus and others. 

 

Hopes are rising as well for a US-China trade deal with a US delegation in Beijing hammering out the details of a possible agreement between both sides. 

 

S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 2-1/5 month highs, after closing up 0.3% yesterday, the fourth profit in a row. 

 

Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.3%, while France's CAC 40 added 0.4%, as Germany's Dax climbed 0.2%.
