Asian stocks opened for the third session this week with a mixed performance on Wednesday, with Australian and New Zealand stocks falling, as well as Hong Kong's Hang Seng and The South Korean' Kospi, while Japanese and Chinese stocks rose amid uncertainty over The developments of trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing in conjunction with the proceedings of the meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee in Washington.
Japanese stock indices rose in today's trading, with TOPIX index rising by 0.20% to win 3.17 points to reach 1,613.10, also Japan's Nikkei index rose 0.08% to win 16.78 points to reach 21,583.63.
The Chinese stocks also rose, with the CSI 300 index rising 0.50% to win 19.22 points to reach 3,853.18, while Shanghai index also rose 0.34% to win 10.62 points to reach 3,101.60.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.16% losing 48.41 points to reach 29,417.87. The South Korean Kospi Index fell 0.99% losing 21.54 points and reaching 2,155.97.
To the NZX 50 index of New Zealand shares, which fell by 0.53% to lose 50.02 points reaching 9,447.25. On the other hand, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index which also fell 0.13% losing 8.19 points to reach 6,179.60.
