The major US stock indices fell on Tuesday, as investors returned from Monday's holiday in the US, while focus turned to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The Davos forum launched today, with the presence of a number of leaders, most notably President Donald Trump, central banks governors, billionaires, and activists in other fields.

The Forum's discussion will be throughout this week, on many global issues, such as climate change, the global economy, and other global challenges nations face.

The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, warned from the chances of a great depression facing the global economy, due to the gap between inequality and stability in the financial markets.
