The US Commerce Department stated today that US retail sales rose by 0.4% in August vs 0.8% in July supported by a rebound in auto sales and online health product sales, while the core reading (excluding automobiles) remained unchanged.
Which comes despite consumers cautious waiting of the US-China trade talks results starting from next month.
