The United States released today its Housing Starts data, which fell unexpectedly during last month, in the lowest level since May 2017.
Which means that construction companies and contractors will continue to be wary of the slowing in the housing market growth, prompting them to refrain from building new units.
The number of houses that have been built has fallen by 0.3% to 1.139 million units in March, while analysts forecast a rise to 1.23 million units.
In addition, the number of building permits in the United States fell by 1.7% to 1.27 million in March.
