2019-02-12 07:04:07 GMT (Economies.com)

EUR/USD tilted higher in Asian trade off November 28 lows, in a day that lacks major data releases from the euro zone and the US.

As of 04:22 GMT, EUR/USD barely inched up to 1.1277, with an intraday high at 1.1285, and a low at 1.1273.

Deutsche Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann is due today for a speech titled "The role of the central bank in a modern economy – a European perspective" at the University of South Africa, in Pretoria.

Now investors await the third round of US-China trade talks, with US treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin and other officials heading to Beijing later this week to resume negotiations.
