Ripple rises with US Federal Reserve meeting in focus

Ripple rose during trading today as well as Bitcoin and some of their sisters as the markets focused on the next meeting of the US Federal Reserve, which will affect the movement of currencies and minerals and other assets.

The US central bank meeting will start on Tuesday to continue until Wednesday followed by a rate decision on expectations of a cut to 2.25%.

The performance of the US stock markets today was mixed, which coincided with the cryptocurrency market as well.

The combined market value of the cryptocurrencies stabilized at $277.9 billion after recent market pressure due to concerns about the digital Facebook currency "Libra".

In terms of trade, by 21:28 GMT, Ripple rose by 1.1% to $0.31, the highest at $0.32 and the lowest at $0.30.

Bitcoin rose by 0.9% to $9534, with the highest at $9731.6 and the lowest at $9119.1.
