Ethereum adds 2% as most cryptocurrencies recover

Ethereum rose 2% on Friday on track for the first profit in three days, nearing three-week highs. 

At Bitstamp, ethereum rose $2.7, or 2.3% to $121.95, with an intraday high at $122.73. 

Ethereum lost 1.2% on Thursday, the second loss in a row as most cryptocurrencies decline. 

Market value of cryptocurrencies rose a billion dollars to $121 billion. 

The Ethereum network announced that on February 25, the hard fork process for ethereum will be finished, updating a widespread range of issues and features. 

This is the third time of announcing the launch after two failures for late-discovered issues. 

The new propelled ethereum back to the second place among the world's ladder of most valuable cryptocurrencies as ripple receded to third place.
